The word ‘Rangers’ is not an unknown word. Many people know about them, but what they didn’t expect that it can be so much more than just protecting people from monsters. The work of Rangers can be traced back in history before the establishment of Pakistan. At first the task was considered only as protecting livestock. However, after a while they were moved into protecting homes, since then they became active in defending civilians. During the late 1800s this was a real war of independence, and the time when the British troops began to force refugees to go to India. This situation created a lot of discontent with the government and made people rebel against the oppression. Moreover, this time was crucial for the creation of the idea of Rangers, which was later called Frontier Force (FF). And the reason why these guys defended their homeland was also due to something like a similar issue: people got tired of watching their leaders, especially from the Western world. Since they felt neglected and wanted to fight with them.
Over the years, this kind of struggle has become one of the central aspects of human existence. According to various estimates, during the course of three hundred years the number of villages conquered by Indian troops rose from twenty-four thousand to eighty-six thousand. These things can tell us as to the importance of working with Rangers in order to preserve peace in the region where they protect locals and help them build a better future.
